Volunteering at the Surprise Shop of Trinity Church is an amazingly enjoyable experience! Our Volunteers work in every aspect of the shop’s day-to-day functions.

Front Desk Volunteers

Front Desk Volunteers greet and assist customers coming into the consignment shop. They check out and package purchases. They answer telephone inquiries and make consignment appointments.

This position involves interaction with the public and requires a love for customer service. This is a multifaceted role.

Shifts are Monday through Saturday either from 10am to 1pm OR 1pm to 4pm. The schedule is flexible. There are no number of hours required. It is suggested that volunteers work at least 2 shifts per month and one Saturday shift per semester.

Consignment Volunteers

Consignment Volunteers meet with our consignors and work with them to enter their articles into the computer system and price them appropriately. This position requires strong customer service skills and attention to detail. Consignment days are Monday and Thursday 10am to 12 noon and 1pm to 3 pm.
