Children’s Service: Sunday, Oct. 18 @ 10:15 AM
Kids Are Taking the Lead!
Sunday, October 18 at 10:15 AM
Something special is happening at Trinity. On Sunday, October 18, our children will take an active role in leading the entire 10:15 worship service. Kids will serve as readers, greeters, procession participants, ushers, gift bearers and more, helping make worship their own in a meaningful and joyful way. Mother Rhetta will lead a child-focused sermon designed to engage our youngest worshippers while offering something for adults too.
Your Child Can Participate
Children are invited to take part in a variety of ways, including:
- Joining the procession
- Reading a lesson or prayer
- Welcoming people as a greeter
- Helping with the offering
- Bringing the bread and wine to the altar
- Helping with hospitality after worship
Want your child to participate? Contact Mother Rhetta at hlwiley@trinitychurchtowson.org. And if your child would rather watch, listen and take it all in, that is perfectly fine too. Participation is never required.
Stay for PB&J
After worship, we’ll keep the fun going with a family-friendly hospitality hour featuring PB&J sandwiches, allergy-friendly options, Goldfish, juice boxes, Rice Krispy Treats and other goodies.
More importantly, it will be a chance for families with children to spend time together, meet one another and build connections within the Trinity community.
Bring Your Kids and Grandkids
Parents and grandparents, bring the kids in your life.
Whether your family has been part of Trinity for years or you are visiting for the very first time, you are warmly welcome. All ages are invited to join us for this special morning of worship, community and a little extra kid energy.
Please join us on Sunday, October 18 at 10:15 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church!
